And the ball has officially begun to roll…

So, let’s face it, after my 36 hour ordeal at Penn State, everything in my life halted.  I messed up friendships, became a lot more paranoid, and switched majors about 37 times (for those of you that counted).  Finally, about a month ago, I went back to my old ways: journalism. Ah yes, the comforting major of journalism.  We all know it made my blood run back in high school, and it made me feel like all was right with the world. Who knew as I bounced from pre-med to chemistry to business and chemistry that my long lost passion of writing and deadlines would ever be my niche in the world? Thank God, I finally realized it.  So now, for the first time in over two years, I am confident in my future as a writer (Courtney, a writer? Who would have guessed?) But finally, I have gotten plans and deadlines back in my head, trying to exhaust every option in order to further my passion. So now, I am going to take joy in reading the Wall Street Journal and reading Bronte. I have switched from a fixed mindset of sadness and conformity back to my old self, the future dictator of the world, the journalism world that is.
